Welcome Back! I hope everyone had a restful and enjoyable Fall Break. We are all saddened by the tragic events that took place while we were away. Many lives and families in our own community have been impacted. Please know we are doing all we can to create a sense of safety and peace for your child at our school. If your child appears to be struggling with the news, please let us know. We have mental health resources and personnel at the school who can help. Please use the attached article as a resource for speaking with your child about any traumatic event.
Our reading and math intervention services have started this week. We have hired additional support staff to help students in need of extra assistance in math and reading. The intervention program will take place during the school day. Your child’s teacher has already notified or will notify you if your child qualifies for the services.
Read! Read! Read!
Please encourage your child to read each day. Students have access to a wide range of reading material both in the classroom and in our school library. Helping your child to develop a love of reading is the perfect way to create lifelong learners.
Support the PTO
Please support our PTO. Many of the wonderful activities, programs, assemblies, and field trips planned for this year would not be possible without the hard work of our PTO.
